Newcomers Julius Rosenwald and Trace Composite join the Bound Greaking roster with the release of their split c20 "The Artist Finds Your Body Sweet And Fresh." The album is the darkest and most physical release to hit the label yet.
Kicking things off with "RSTOERZM", Julius Rosenwald introduces listeners to an agonizing screamo that progresses into a pounding, metallic auditory assault. The salvos ventures into astonishingly incongruous, delirious territory. "The Emergence of Consciousness (and critical intervention in reality)" replicates the sensation of drowning in anguish as Rosenwald belts out a series of perturbing aphorisms.
The bulldozing continues on the tape's B side, with Trace Composite squeaking onto the scene. High-pitch vibing is slowly interrupted by a low, brutal cracking that becomes the canvas for a sober exploration of tone and texture. At the end of the day, though, "The Way You Look At Me" is generous with moments ripe for audio chilling.
